"Desire"

By Grim_Sorrow

love
lust
longing
the essence of acceptance
ones trust in faith
and faith in fate
ever wanting
ever needing
yet never finding
but you
the focus of my words
would find me
take me
throw me
this stop and go emotion
this now even handed devotion
blind and brutal
beaten and beloved
long broken
yet always willing
to live
love
and listen
believe
breathe
envision
this decision
to pursue the love of us
my love of you
this rejection
far from the schoolyards hit and miss
lost to this
the tired eyes
the heartlessness
desire still
ones waning heart
to tip the scale
embrace your art
apart from me
apart from you
you find the words
embrace the truth
the truth of life love and significance
honest to god
left limitless
immeasurable in length height or distance
its you
the spark that lights the fire
the heat that I desire
the muse that will inspire
beauty
pure poetry
eternal infamy

my ever reminiscent reality

temerity

these words were so emotion-packed; and I echo unspeakable truth in that they are the epitome of desire, the title. Great Job! -Jessica

Very nice.... "my ever reminiscent reality, temerity" A perfect play ( definition ) of the words for the title, "Desire" Scholar
