My return!

By Winter Born

And once again,
My friends
I will spend my early morning hours
Standing tall
Standing proud
Standing with my brothers

Hopefull to once again feel the kick
Hopefully again to hear the sound
Of 7.62 rounds
Drowning out the sounds
Of the music in my ears...

M240-B
My closest friend
My protector
Your protector

Feel the engine rev
the desert under our wheels
Wind in my face
Where to today?

I like the sense of pride in this peace. So proud to serve, to give, to protect.
