A journey of a thousand kisses
your hot lips against my neck
candlelight flickering against our closed eyes
my soft sighs inhaled by your hungry mouth
as I snuggle in closer, deeper
your strong hand upon my hip holding me steady
one leg draped over mine slows the trembling
fingers interlocked beneath our pillow
heartbeats traveling back and forth
from fingertip to fingertip
moments before we shared erotic fantasies
confessions that brought us deeper intimacy
oh so much closer to the happiness we crave
no words can truly express this moment we share
the bond of knowing when the sun rises
we will be held close, in each others arms
silently my heart whispers "good night, my love"
instinctively you hold me even tighter
as I listen to your breath slow, deepening into rythyms of slumber
softly I kiss your lips once more
wondering if you'll ever let me love you
closing my eyes once more
my dreams join yours in the night
