another one...

By Winter Born

another of my friends...
one of my brothers...
never see him again.
never laugh again.

played dart till dawn,
on walls so thin,
the neighbors banging bounced the board.
never happen again.

remember trying to hit a bouncing bulls-eye?
hell, trying to only see one bull?
drinking whiskey and throwing darts till dawn..
never happen again.

waking to you banging on the wall,
telling me to wake up and turn my damned alarm off...
never happen again.

Driving 2 hours to get to a dart bar that didn't know us,
just to make some extra cash off the locals.
drinking that cash as fast as we made it.
layed out in the bed of my truck,
trying to get sober enough to drive back before pt.
never happen again...

Gonna miss you bro.
cherish the memories you gave me.
remember the good times.
never
gonna
forget
you
Randy Rabbe.
