Lies & Fantasy

By virginalnympho

lay on these satin sheets
close your tired eyes
lose yourself in my desire
and i'll forget your filthy lies
scattered on the dirty floor
plastered on the whitewashed walls
hanging from the too low ceiling
screaming out their cat calls
i'll pretend they're not a bother
i'll close my ears, so not to hear
i'll shut my eyes, so not to see
and you can ignore my tears
we'll feign a love so convincing
model a lust into something more
you can pretend you're a gentleman
and that i'm not a whore
and when you leave before dawn
lock the door behind you
be sure to take your lies along
so i'm left with dreams that seem true
and when i awake with your scent in my bed
i'll pretend it isn't there
just like when you see me
you pretend you don't care
