goodbye&hello

By virginalnympho

caustic goodbyes & hallow sentiments
our farewells are filled with empty space
in which truth yearns to reside
but my mouth won't open, save for your kiss
and your kiss stifles all truth.

acidic hellos& lustful touches
our rendavous award winning and plastic
feigned love for all the world to see
but my tears are saved for dark corners
and your bitter words ring only in my ears.

poisonous together& miserable apart
he's inbetween my guilty sheets
but you fill my broken heart
and though she's kissing you in crowded halls
i have you in empty stairwells and muddled dreams

i love you& you return this lie
he says words that rhymes with lust
and she speaks of laced passion
that only i can make you feel
& he means nothing unless you're absent

so why share another kiss with a stranger
instead of lyingg with me beneath stars
you allow me to lie beneath his sin
and instead of holding me in your arms
you drench her with the passion meant for me

but you love me& i return this lie
and her kisses are nothing compared to mine
his touch is cold & recieves no response
while your look pierces deeper than blades
and all the pain& doubt fades. goodbye&hello

So very truthful. The 3rd stanza was my favorite. I'm floored, I don't even know what to say. Beautiful, beautiful write.
