I Killed A Demon

By A Burning God

I killed a demon, heart beating fast
because I was nervous
I killed a demon, feeling it's grips on my arms,
for it new its fate
I killed a demon, shaking during the event
for it tried to banish me
I killed a demon, feeling tired
because the struggle wsa intense
I killed a demon, sensing more
for they were angry at me
I killed a demon, allowing the others to witness,
because they were next
I killed a demon, feeling its power meld with mine
wanting more
I killed a demon, and now I cannot stop killing....

Being able to kill our demons is a beautiful thing. I like how you repeat that line as well.. I killed a demon.

  • A former member wrote: I've killed a demonm and now i can't stop killing - an almost perfect ending, it emphasizes the begining of corruption based on the bad deed driven by good will...i killed a demon, and i can't stop killing, amazing, wonderful write :) *alone*

nicely done. very simple on the surface, but if you dig deeper there are many different contexts, and I like everyone of them...
