You're the angel I knew you were

By Fading_Smile

The wind spreads your sadness like wildfire

When I'm hypnotized by your brown eyes
chocolate desire

You're truly the angel I knew you were
when you borrow the wings of the butterfly
perched on your soft shoulder

You're an angel

Birds see you and fly south in summer
ashamed, your beauty is greater

The sun is an eternal shooting star
my wish is that you lay with me forever

Be happy

On a cloudless day rain falls from the heavens
but you still struck the match that lit me ablaze

I wink as a dragonfly teases my eyes
and wake up, sweating and alone

I miss you

It was so beautiful, I'm not sure it was real
You were so beautiful, I'm not sure you are real

But after burning me the way you did
it's hard to dream of anything else

near impossible

You've spent days in my dreams
have I been in one of yours for half a second?

Elegant and fragile. I liked this one, dude. It was like drinking vodka and lime for the first time with someone who just keeps getting closer with every shot. "When you borrowed the wings of the butterlfly..." Good stuff, man.
