The Forbidden

By monalisamarie

Bite my tongue my teeth are hard
Like a crossbow broken bard
Things are seldom as they seem
Choking on a shattered dream

Frozen circle sterling stream
Hold my breath suppress a scream
Poisoned from the dimly hidden
Kiss the lips of the forbidden

Deceptive like the cool night starred
Like an ardent defaced card

Well done. I am not a big fan of rhyming poetry, but I can feel how deep this is. Keep writing watever comes to your mind

Beautifully written, the imagery is magical and the flow was perfect. Loveliness in it's greatest form.
