gone away

By thefairytaleheart

cigarettes and broken dreams
promises of memories
but everyone's gone to sleep
and nothing's as it seems to be

nightmares blend with fairy tales
and once upon a time of fables
hiding 'neath the dirty tables
reality is turning stale

laughing at your situation
stalking your infatuations
adding to your accumilation
of all your sad humiliations

poverty and perverted people
hiding every where in steeples
girls suck on their popcicles
while blood begins to slowly boil

down the web of woven days
trying hard to find a way
to make it all just go away
no more to wallow in my shame

cigarettes and broken dreams
promises of memories
but everyone is laughing at me
nothing's how it's sposed to be.
