Pictures and Poetry

I write poetry
and take pictures,
supposedly.

Well, the picture part is
absolutely true,
sometimes.

And the words
I write
sorta seem like
poetry,

though in all candor,
it's not very good,
doesn't even rhyme,
lacks the classic forms,
and usually makes no point
anyone else cares about.

But it's an excuse
to smoke
and think,
and when an idea
comes pooping out,
and gets written down,
this cheesecloth brain
I got
gets a nice walk,
like any good chihuaha
deserves.
