Another Broken Thing

By TornPaperDoll

This broken little heart
This broken little girl
This broken little home
That's taken away her world
Nobody cares for "tainted"
Nobody cares for "lost"
Nobody cares for "different"
Because it's just not worth the cost.
And sweet little lullabies
No longer play as she sleeps
Instead, the echoing of threats
As into the night, she weeps.
And everyday just another
Reason for her to scream
But who in there right mind
Would help such a broken thing?

A broken human being always has someone to catch the pieces, be they friend, or stranger. Look inside to find the question, and ask for help to find the hidden things. Well written. - Michael

so sad, and so true in life. It sucks that the things and the people that we care most for in life can make us feel this way. awesome job as always amanda, keep it up, I love it when you post new works ~Josh~
