What I touched this Morning.
Battle Scars
Marring
Flawless Skin
Evidence
Of internal Wars
That few could Fathom…..
I cannot Judge you,
For I am not worthy
to Judge
Anyone but Myself.
Were I a stronger Warrior
I would slay the Phantoms
That Haunt your Soul
Yet I battle those same Phantoms
Within Myself.
Oh, to Travel back in Time
To Undo Everything
That broke your Heart,
Darkened your Soul
Alas, I cannot
For Yesterday’s wood
Is Today’s Ashes…….
