Memories
By Crimson Shade
As the river of time does flow,
And the winds of change blow through,
Those that were once vivid and bright,
Now appear blurred and dull.
Though my heart remains true,
And my mind replays a false truth,
Those that were once dear and cherished,
Are now loathed and unloved.
As your mind-melded face appears,
And the emotions come back,
The scars that were forgotten,
Are re-opened anew.
As these scars do bleed, endure and heal,
I sit and relive those that were once blurred and dull,
And here I sit in my mind-forged world,
Living in those that are now vivid and bright.
