Poem To You

Ok, so this is not really dark or nothin...but it is meaningful...at least to me and one other person...and my collection of poems on here would mean nothing with out this one...

I knew that we'd be friends forever, but to think anything more...
It would be crazy!
Now we are, and I couldn't imagine anything less.
A strange couple we are, indeed.
But LOVE, it doesn't choose what is normal, or, what is not.
We are, in so many ways different, but our souls are so alike,
that it is absolutely terrifying.
There are times when I want to end it all...
But you...you keep me holding on.
It frightens me to think, that if you didn't capture my heart when you did, that we might have never been anymore, than just friends.
And I, would breathe no more.
You tell me that you'd only leave me by death.
It scares me to know that I feel the same.
I would leave your side by no other way.
And I'd rather die a thousand deaths...
Than to live my life with out you,
by my side, and in my heart, forever.
