This Is Love

By MidniteBlaze

Awaiting to find the right person for you
in hopes that they can love you
because it is just as easy to break you

Trusting
loving
caring

Awaiting to find the right person for you
in hopes that they can love you
because it is just as easy to break you

Confusion
disputes
distancing

Awaiting to find the right person for you
in hopes that they can love you
because it is just as easy to break you

High hopes
lifting up
purity

Awaiting to find the right person for you
in hopes that they can love you
because it is just as easy to break you

Dreams shattered
dragged down
hatred

Never knowing what is what
putting faith in someone you care for
without knowing much about the person

Hoping to be loved in the same way you love the other
to be everlasting and to carry on
to have a healthy relationship based on trust
but to try and establish a good friendly status as well

Knowing the conquest
you plunge on forward
you put your heart's deepest feelings
your deepest fears and emotion on the line
just for the one you love
in hopes of equality and the feeling of sensation

However in the end
it's always the same damn results
as you have once again become a victim of unrequitted love
this is the feeling we strive so much for
while in constant fear of rejection
until it all becomes a reality

You realize it is not meant to be
and one or the other screws the person over
this is what we all try for in one aspect or another
