A Nightly Dance

One takes a girl out to dance
every night the same routine
a certain time set
for them to set out and dance
their own personal time
set aside just for them

One continues to take a girl out
still making them feel special
but then the times change
but still they have their alone time
a special moment for the both of them
each and every night

One really starts to feel for the girl
the emotions and feeling arise
the girl becomes aroused herself
and the mood is set perhaps
for something beyond the usual
while maintain the love and respect

One feels really special now
and comes to see the girl again
but has reached a dead end in his path
as he walks down a lonely road
with no partner to dance with
but still thinking he is loved

One feels she needs her freedom
so let her have it
only to be dissapointed in his mind
but knows there is nothing that can be done about it
another night that is just not the same
trying to find a way to deal with the torment and the pain

One finally sees her again
to find her upset
suddenly happy again to see you
but sad because the freedom nights never turned out good
feeling rejected and full of hurt
one lends her a shoulder to cry on

One after offering help
because of the feelings offers to help more
to be with them just to make her feel better
but a refusal is about to come his way
as she simply just does not want to move
another night alone

One has made his final decision
toyed with and abused
payed attention to the most only to be used
and the feelings that are stated are not within sight
she asks to dance yet again
and as hurtful as it is he tells her no

A tragic end
to a beautiful tradition
do not take things for granted
because no good hope or dream seems to last forever
so you either give up or try again for the same results
or you be the one in my story and simply just give up
