The Pointless Things I Do

So many favors
very few, if any returned
you will never see
the things I do for you
even at this moment
I try to save your ass from trouble
but you throw me away as always
so much done
with so little results
I give my blessings
you give me hell
why do I bother?
people always ask me this
I do not even know anymore
the pointless things I do for you
and so many others as well
I do more than my fair share of caring
is it too much to ask for some in return?
