To Await For The Right Time Is Like A Dagger To The Heart

By MidniteBlaze

To wait for so long
just to get so little
to expect so much
just to get nothing
to put your heart in soul into a belief
just to be dissapointed in the end

A constant pain
it never ends
pulses from the inside
and never leaves me be

Haunting me day after day
but I try to ignore
but it seems that when I do
I just become more bruised and sore

If I could change mental pain into physical pain
my entire body would be as grotesque as can be
the scars would cover my face
ripped and torn to expose my broken heart

You hope for so much
but know your wishes will not come true
to await for the right time
is like a dagger to the heart

is that 'haunting?' and i liked the raw ravaging emotion portrayed here though i'm not quite sure the end is stabbed effectively...

perhaps, a description of how that dagger penetrates the heart would be a wincing effect to the pain and grief of this piece. overall, nicely done. ~m~
