Void

Ever feel out of place
like you are just not there
you do anything just to be noticed
just to be listened to
by the ones who love and care about you
but you are just simply out of place
voided from their memories
as if you are not there
either a leech for favors
or sweet and assuring but not understanding of you
of who you are
of what you believe in
you question your very existance
as you see nobody seems to notice

Do I care?
unfortunately yes
do I wish I did not care anymore
yes I do
but it is hard for me not to care
about the people who I hold dear to me
but what is all for really
who is really going to be there
when nothing remains
