Back To Square One

By MidniteBlaze

Ever come a time
where you are faced with something
something you have done before
yet it seems new to you

A new challenge approaches
you face me with this situation
unsure of myself
it is all me
never knowing what to do anymore
keeping myself from previous incidents

What a plesant night
with plesant events
what does everything mean?
what am I to do?

Everyone has a time to think
everyone has to make a choice
I am my own worst enemy
and I do not want to screw up
rejection
failure
I do not want this
can I have what I believe I cannot?

Know these answers
I do not
I just keep on going
until I am smacked in the face
with the truth to this matter
and how it will affect me

I liked the way you weighted the piece down with the one theme, but it seemed kind of jerky to read, I dunno, not quite the seamless flow this work could have... Maybe it was you shooting for inner reflection? Either way... I very much enjoyed that last little bit there... Scholar
