White Into Black

By MidniteBlaze

I await you
whoever you are
out there
somewhere...

I sit upon my bed and look upon the night sky
you keep me waiting on the opposide side
behind the doors to our balcony
preparing something from the outside
I lay back to wait
and you approach
a long, white night gown
your long hair glistens in the night sky
as you open up those doors
picture perfect you have become
with your striking appearance
and the beautiful evening we are currently living

The suspence continues
and you close the doors
pitch black in our room
you strike a match
you light a candle
now a dimly lit room
suprized and not knowing what is what
my body jolts and I sit back up
but you climb onto our bed
hold my head
and lay me back down
you lean over to kiss me
and I am more than willing to accept

However, this cannot be
because I still await you, perhaps
if my heart ever decides to accept again

Dreams into thoughts
and then I wake up
such a fantasy
or even the feelings alone
are just not meant to be

I await you
whoever you are
somewhere...
wherever you are...
