Drip Slip Ride

By vaultgrl

Drip drop drip,
Watch the needle slip.
Drip drop drip,
Pull the blade thru quick.

Slip slip slide,
Let this feeling ride.
Slip slip slide,
My emotions glide.

Ride ride ride,
Car drifting to the side.
Ride ride ride,
Decision-lets collide.

Drip drop drip,
Reality beginning to rip.
Drip drop drip,
All the drama skipped.

Drip drop drip.
Slip slip slide.
Ride ride ride.

Very effective write; the repetition and rhythm brings real pace to this. I like the ... endlessness (?can't think of better descriptive) of the conclusion...it feels circular somehow... Great write, anyway. :)

Amazing. I loved the repition of the words and even the rhyming. Not one for rhyming poetry as I've said before...but I love this piece.
