This is the way it is
this is the way it will always have to be
hope for me
forget about out
as I help out others instead
to make them happy

Making people happy makes me happy
I can never benefit myself however
so why bother?

The sick part about all this
is that I do not care that things are this way
I have learned to accept this
and move on with my life
and focus on the more important things
and be there when people need me

Still to this day
people do not appreciate shit
but hell one day people will learn
a person can never change
but when smacked in the face with reality
perhaps they will view things differently
I for one have been smacked myself
and I accept my status in life that I now have

Could be better
could be worse
why complain?
seize the day
enjoy yourself
and live everyday as if it is your last
