Judas Playground

Beneath a red sky
Children with Devil’s breath
Prepare the ceremonial breakfast
Of bottled bullets and brains of dotards
In a rain of bloodied feathers

With empty plates
The children now swim in craters
And swing across the ravenous pit
Wishing other ascensions to endure
Through mind collages of their own creations

Violating our gardens of secrecy
They gaze at the death of firmaments
And as the silent sorrows on astral boats
Dive beyond the unknown realms
Nightmares gain life by the sea

They are those who bring us to the alleys
And sleep plugged to frenetic televisions
Without any kind of rancor in their souls
Without any use of their tools
(The heart and head)
They are angels with claws
Delinquent births
That drag the dirt and sleep on it
And dare to flirt within the pain

Their heartstrings are thin
As the palaces of bliss burn
They awake from the mute hush of winds
Lifeless motions
Smouldering to a shallow haste
It’s the laughter of children running
To funeral flights
Taking cancerous pieces
From the glowing bones of Judas
