Eh.. why bother with a name?

By Cutting_for_Freedom

Funny how things turn out
You caused me so much pain and agony
Yet... You taught me
I was your pupil so naive
You opened my eyes
To things I never knew before...
You taught me
Crying is not a sign of being weak
Even the strong cry
Yyou taught me that
It is not shameful
To cry to somone
I learned
There is always someone who will listen
That not everyone is going to hurt me
I was enriched with
Love and understanding
Compassion
You melted my black heart of ice
You also smashed it
But I learned that it will happen like that
I can no longer be deperessed
Over all that is bad
Because I'm constantly marveling in all that is good
You taught, hurt, and crushed me.
I'm tattered and torn
But not broken
Beacuse of all you taught me
I became a better person

From the one who hurt me,
I learned the most.
... Go figure...

That's the way it happens somtimes. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I liked the way you put it though, and the ending. -Cinn
