I love them...

By NeverMore

Ancient scars dwell on my wrist,
the remaining curse
of a previous life.
I HATE them,
yet am in LOVE
with them at the same time.
The brutal reminder of what
I once was,
what I will never become again.
I am infactuated with them-
The result of a evening that
saves my life every night.
Days roll by as my scars
remain hidden beneath bracelets.
Night falls and they come out
to play.
They tell me
"Everythings okay.
Smile, the skies arn't
always grey.
Stares shine in the milky way,
follow them, they'll never
lead you astray."
