Maybe you know her.

By Simply Me

Her eyes are shinning bright again.
She's been awakened from the dead,
After years of lying dorment.
she's finally lifting up her head.

She came to you from no where,
when you needed her the most.
She saved your wretched life,
though she isn't one to boast.

She picked you up out of the mud,
and did it with her loving hands.
For this you owe her everything,
cause she made you a man.

She asked for nothing in return,
except to be your one and only.
To be your pride and joy,
but instead you've left her lonely.

Now the woman at your side,
has begun to slowly slip away.
She's always known there's more,
and there's no reason left to stay.

Her time with you is done,
but you won't notice that she's gone.
The angel sent for your protection,
has been called to come back home.

There'll always be another one,
who needs to know what he can do.
She'll tell him what he needs to hear,
and be there to help him through.

One day she'll find the one,
who tells her what she needs to hear.
Appreciation for the woman,
and he'll see her wings appear.

She'll know she's found true love
she'll wrap her arms around him tight
They'll fly high into the clouds
till they're forever out of sight.
