i sit in the rain
next to a building
under its canopy
smoking and watching
people walk in and out
cars start and drive off
cars drive in and park
the drizzle is illuminated in the parking lots lights
a woman
in a designer coat
wearing elegant jewlery
steps out of a BMW
she opens a yellow umbrella
on it is typed,
in large black letters:
"shit.
its raining"
