Flames of Passion

By MGood

Watching for a being of light,
Who shadows his brightness in spite.

Which way have you gone?
I will soon greet the dawn,

With sadness.
Restless...

Breathing desire,
By the fire;

We built to burn as one.
This that we have begun.

It cracks and spits up to the heavens,
As the shade of night slowly opens.

Over taken by the burning heat,
I can feel my heart beat,

As I gaze,
Into it's mystic blaze.

Enchanted, I chant a wish,
With a fervor likely childish,

And envision you within the confines,
Of the pines.

Following the path that will lead to this place,
To my embrace.
