Morbid Ecstasy

By MGood

Walking hand in hand
Over a dark and mysterious land
Ego's final monuments placed
The last of lives traced
Elegantly feeding our fears
Through decaying proof of many years
Only moonlight guiding us
Following contemptuous
Lustful spirits materialize
While the physical complies
The outside world dismissed
Skin against the mist
By a veil of moisture now dressed
Our yearning bodies pressed
United
Sharing the Dead's bed
