the end of a life

By Lord Kalgalath

So tired of this lonely life
So now I say goodbye
Last sight is of this dagger
I sheathe it in my heart

Lets its aching beat cease
Let my thoughts roam no more
Roaming always to heartache
Returning always to her

Figment of my Imagination
A Dream within a Dream
Cotton Candy Constructs
Blown away in the breeze

Blade pierces Flesh
Blood falls like Rain
Myriad drops of Nothingness
Like a Flood spill forth

My loneliness ebbs with this Life
Draining away, dripping from my Dagger
As my heart stutters and stops...
The beats again, stronger than before

I step back from the ashes,
this old life gone, Dust in the Wind
A new one stretches before me
I take my angels had and walk away, down that long bright path

its wonderful. with every ending there is a new begining. that means there is still hope in the world. A_C

  • A former member wrote: This is nothing against you, Alacer. Honestly, it was only something I think about day in and day out. If someone can prove me wrong, please do. =-MO-=
