Wings Tattered

By Syn

Her gothic angel wing
tinged with blood
freying at the edge

Torn and dirty
chained and bound
to the cold steel rail

Grey eyes empty
once brightly shimmered
long ago lost their glow

Small teeth sharp
stark white straight
biting her lower lip

She is human
a statement of her lust
to a world that never held her

Imprisoned, captured
no longer allowed to fly
Captive of her lover
