Take a Hint

By Heart of Stone

You're engulfed by your pool of self pity
Nothing is ever good enough
Compliments are what you crave
but you lie to yourself
Make yourself believe that you're something you're not
You're absolutely right though
You are ugly
Everything that you stand for is shit
I am sic of trying to convince you
That you're a good person
Because you're really not
You're more than selfish
I'm offended by everything that you do
And ashamed of my association with you
Yeah, I've got great memories of our friendship
Before you forgot that I mattered
You were selfish then
But I was blind
Well, I've opened my eyes
And I can see right through you.
