The End Of All

By _Andrew_

To have loved
Is to have lost
in this thought I solidify;
nothing to show
Nothing to hide
All that was once
Lost
But held
In justification; another meagre virtue
Stripped from the bright
Delivered to the bold
An answer made by one
Delivered by another;
We continue to strive for something more
Unable to hold what we have
Forever taking them for granted;
Until the day I die
My eyes;
My mind;
Will forever behold
("Don't wake up")
What we had
("ever again")
This;
Last night
