False Network

By riCOCKulous

You are a little white lie on paper
Typing those falsifications
As you force me
To wish,
To hope,
To perceive,
That you are really there.
That you through the illuminated screen
Although you are so close
Missing me,
Wanting me,
Loving me,
Though your poetic words speak no truth
Through the connection line
They burn away the desperation
Mentally,
Physically,
Spiritually,
Then you delude me
Making a promise of when
When you connect to me
Our blood,
Our sweat,
Our ink,
No longer will I listen
No hope will melt from my heart
For I know that you don’t care
For me,
For us,
For my heart,
You are a little white lie on paper
Typing those falsifications
I no longer care
