its stupid but it sounded good at the time...

By so_skeevy

A Smile to cover pan,
A laugh to hide the Shame.
Pretend like nothing’s wrong,
You’ll never be the same.

You hide behind a friendly face,
You fear to wield a frown
The pain you alone embrace,
You lead your heart to drown.

Depression rains upon you,
you’ve caused your own despair.
Your life has turned to sadness,
Your heart beyond repair.

Nowhere for your soul to run,
You’re trapped in misery.
There is no outlet for your pain,
You’re left in agony.

Now your heart is bleeding,
Your secret still inside.
Your life has lost all meaning,
There’s nowhere left to hide.

Out comes the secret,
A relief upon your lips.
The pains once within your heart,
Have lost their iron-clad grips.
