From His Eyes

By Anaelle

I wanted to be him
In those few precious midnight hours
We had together
I wanted to get under his skin
And actually become a part of him
I wanted to feel what he felt
I wanted to see what he saw
I wanted to breathe what he breathed
I wanted to touch what he touched
I wanted to smell what he smelled
I wanted to taste what he tasted
I wanted to think what he thought
I wanted to be able to see the beauty
That he saw when he looked at me
I wanted to look into my deep eyes
To feel the softness of my skin
To be the receiver of pleasure and love
Instead of the giver
And vise versa
I wanted to think of myself as a goddess
Like I know he does
But most of all...
I wanted to be able to love myself
The way he loves me
And I wanted to feel that love
Well up in my chest
Every time I looked at myself
'Cause that's the kind of feeling
I saw in his eyes

Wonderful piece! I love the notion that "I wanted to be able to love myself the way he loves me" - fanatastic! Scholar
