The First Kiss

By Anaelle

There's nothing sweeter
Than that first kiss
And - ah - how my lips tingled
For hours afterwards
My heart never stopped beating
From that movement forward
Hands so warm
And fingertips so soft
God never created
Such a beautiful creature
And like some unholy sin
I crave every one of your touches
I've become selfish
For the attention you adorn me with
You awoke the devil inside
And fed it with love so addictive
It would surely starve without you
That lingering kiss
Still burns upon my lips
Can you still feel it too?
Something so real
In a world so false
Is it stuck in your memory?
That one first kiss
That quickly defined everything
God was never capable
Of creating something so delicious
As that one first kiss

I had forgotten what a first kis tasted like. It lingers, it burns, it petrifies, it tingles, it steals nights away. You made me remember. Brava!
