Lessons in Love
By asailorsangel
Every time they stumble and
have to walk alone
Miles are traveled
She learns a
little more each time
who she really is
and he learns what he wants
out of the relationship.
As she crosses his path once more
She brings with
Her a little more trust
A little more passion
A little more of who
She really is
He can not promise her heart
That it will work out
but he can promise that
he will try a little harder
Care a little more
And stand with her
rather than
with out her
In the empty spaces
They learn what time has
Offered and though
They can not go back
In the looking glass
They find the faults
Within themselves
And then the
Lesson?
Lost
Souls
Can
Find
Their way
Home
Again......

I totally agree with Markus. Many of us are a character in this poem and can easily see a reflection of our own identity. I found a lot of hope within your poem and loved it's sense of romanticism. Great work.
