Our Last Breath
By Trichotillomaniac
And I wondered how I was so different
That in the little years that passed
We had both changed
I once looked into your eyes and saw a soul
Now all I see it a foggy haze of nothing
Did you want to love me again?
Like I had said I would to you
How can we change these emotions
How can we stop them from leaving?
It's time to let go
but we're not ready
Still clinging to the thoughts of a nwe beginning
We're still holding on, for fear of being alone
I suffer for you, so we can survive
Against the odds that have stacked
and stacked
and stacked
and stacked
I'll hold up this wall, for as long as I can
As you take our last breaths
We were once one, now two ones not a like
Why do strive, to keep this going?
Your last breath was mine
It's finally left us
A love that was so pure, is now muddy and forever gone
