The Tattoo That Gives Life

A Tribute, written long ago for the Goddess herself.

The Tattoo that gives life...does there exist such a delight?

Please allow me a moment to post.

It's not intended to hide a scar...yet still visible from afar,

I assure you as I am its host.

~~~~~~~~~~
It's not a tribute to regret...for anyone that I met,
Nor is it a reflection of my pain.
My symbol of strength...thoughts stretched to great length,
It can even put a stop to the rain.
~~~~~~~~~~

It's not there by a whim...nor will it later become grim,

You'll see no images of dark faeries.

Careful consideration was given...the ink then deeply driven,

The fate of my world is that which it carries.

~~~~~~~~~~
So what is its statement? It's one of pure elatement!
I must show every person I greet.
Each time that I awaken...my breath becomes taken,
I can barely walk calmly down the street.
~~~~~~~~~~

Within the pages of THIS website...though not visible outright,

I had to instead be chosen.

Quite lovely was the infusion...performed entirely in seclusion,

That moment in time forever frozen.

~~~~~~~~~~
Not at all to be taken lightly...compared only unto Aphrodite,
This act is considered a solemn decree.
A work of art by far unique...removable by no known technique,
Now permanent and the best part of me.
~~~~~~~~~~

No longer must my soul seek...of angelic magnificence I speak,

Diamonds are not nearly as flawless!

Look into my heart which now beats...that's where she's forever inked,

My Love,
My Life,
my Tattoo Goddess!
