Nothing forever

By Zeppy94

I'm a raging storm of thunder, most run from the chaos,

Where I make it my home and call it my peace.

But nothing lasts forever, like happiness, a fleeting thought,
Serenity on a lease,

so it would seem my heart has no rest.

Anxiety weighed on my shoulders,
hyperventilating and shortness of breath,

Memories flash back in my dreams, PTSD vivid nightmares filled with regret.

Unsure of the future and afraid of my past, Promised one too many forevers,

but only time deems what is able to last.
