Eternal Smile

By Commander_Cadaver

Raven hair curled around her head,
A smile that could light up
The darkest of nights.
Pale, soft skin that drove
The masses wild with want.

She dances the night away
With the wind blowing her
To and fro.
Not a care in the world
As she lives her best life
In the land of dreams.

Eyes watch her from a distance,
Cold, hungry eyes waiting
To pounce from the shadows.
They know her and her every move.

They move their fingers to
The motions of her dancing
As if controlling each twirl and bow.
They've practiced this dance
For a time that is unmeasurable.

At the end of her dance, the set of eyes
Pounce from their spot
And take up her hand in a dance
Of their own.
A dance that feeds the hunger that
Can never be satiated.

Slashing
Carving
Disemboweling
Slicing
Chipping.

This dance of the blade leaves her a
Severed, naked mess in the grass.
Upon her face,
From ear to ear,
The eyes left the dancer
With a smile eternal.
