Cracked

By DeificLightning

Crumbling mask, broken glass,
Jagged smile, blood on the tile.
Bloodied fist and fractured face,
Reflecting back with tear-stained grace.
Hollow laughter rebounding around,
Knees thudding on the ground.
Empty eyes, glassy and round,
Staring at nothing to escape the now.
Because reality breaks you,
Hurts and deceives you.
Till all that’s left,
Is shattered glass.
Your reflection
Staring back.
Broken eyes,
Fading to black.

Sounds like 7 years bad luck DL; hoping tomorrow finds you healed and hopeful. It gets better, eventually, cheers! - Dan
