Heartlore

I fight the wind,
To get to you.
&
At night I dream of you.
Shadow prayers
Blood dusk
innocence caught
Unawares.
The tyrant knows
&
My father follows
So,
I'll never get to hold you close
But I am yours in the simplest of ways:
A smile, a wave, a hello.
Though forever in my heart, I'm not the one with yours, so
I just dream.
