Depths of Her Mind

By Commander_Cadaver

She is a treasure trove
Of knowledge,
Of wisdom,
Of stories that can
Paint such vivid pictures
And bring about
Emotions that we
Rarely feel.

Her mind holds such secrets
And such inspiration
That she never fails to intrigue
Me with tales of
Past,
Present,
And future.

Her brain so colorful
And vibrant that one
Could be lost in it
For days and days.
Trapped in time but
Never wanting to lose
A second of her words.

With a drill and bone saw,
I find my way into her mind.
The maze that makes up
Her psyche is so pink,
So bright.
So...alluring.
I must delve deeper
Into this mass
That holds words that cause
Me to feel human.

Scalpel, tweezers, and gentle
Hands pick and put apart
Those stories and the
Advice she knew how
To give in any situation.
The depths of her mind drag
Me into it a trance.

Tunnel vision
And a sense of floating
Above the ground
Fill me up as I slowly
Slice apart a piece
Of her brain and carefully
Chew it.
Oh the taste of wisdom
That few fail to grasp
In their entire life
Gives me goosebumps.

Another bite
And my own mind races.
Oh how amazing this
Sensation is and yet how
Deep it is dragging me.
More pieces eaten,
More knowledge gained
And yet I'm still lost
In the depths of her mind.

The mind is indeed a labyrinth, great work, delightfully dark.
