I'm sorry for what I've turned you into

By CryMeaRiver

I’m sorry for what I’ve turned you into
seeing you this way
breaks me in two
and I’m the one who did this to you
I’m sorry for what I’ve turned you into

Black, whites and grey
no color to display
now that things have gone my way
I wish I could turn the clock back
to yesterday

The blood has run dry
I no longer want to die
scar tissue healed
but a new issue revealed

When I turned you into
what you've become
I realized the real issue
and started to run

But rather than away
I should've ran to
becuse you
wanted to solve this issue too

So I'm sorry for what I've turned you into
when I think of you out
please pass me a tissue
you never know what you've got, until it's gone
is it so soon that you'd be moving on?

Heartache likes to linger, but I hope you can learn from it and grow. You write well, try to keep at it friend.

Sometimes the pain of watching someone go and then self destruct is a whole new level of pain.

Our internal strife infects those we love in life...In our endeavor to let them be free we always seem to make them bleed... --A great write, faving this. It flows really well.
