Under Native Skies

By Tagen

We kissed all night under the stars
I didn't know you had come from the bar
I alone in your eyes
Dark winter skies

I sigh
Such beauty unblemished by time
Holding you, holding me
Whiskey breath on our teeth, breathe

You taught me how to fly
Cinders from our cigarettes
Ignite the sky like fireflies
My heart beats
And I smile

 Crazy reservation style.

Thanks for sharing something that we can all relate to; with a sigh. Cheers Tagen! - Dan
