The Skull, the Cup and the Dagger.

By DarkAsh

The skull the cup and the dagger
Went out carousing upon the Shire
Though they had no feet
Their flight was fleet
Straight to the blood and drink and ire

The skull the cup and the dagger
Their hearts neither cold nor fired
For no heart was had
In the form they clad
So to the edge to the brim
To the wire!

Yes the skull and the cup and the dagger
Were just lines on the skin of a liar
But he sounded so sweet
Such a pleasure to meet
No one minds a little blood with the wine
When the eye burns hot
With desire

Oh yes! A skull and a cup and a dagger
All went out for a night on the Shire
They met a pretty young lass
Fought over who would draw
Her breath
Last
And they murdered instead
The fool
Who bore them
The liar
